Kinetic Edge Direct Membership Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in the Kinetic Edge Direct membership program offered by Kinetic Edge Physical Therapy (“KE”, “we”, “us”). By enrolling in any Kinetic Edge Direct membership, you agree to be bound by these terms.

  1. Membership Plans and Benefits

You may choose one of the following month-to-month membership levels:

Recover Membership

Month-to-month subscription

Access to member-only discounts on services

Virtual screens and direct communication with your movement specialist

Discounted pricing on Simple Services, Standard Services, Specialty Services, and Recharge Sessions

Perform Membership

Month-to-month subscription

All Recover benefits

Includes one (1) Recharge Session or Therapy Session per month

Eligible to purchase additional Recharge or Therapy Sessions at member pricing

Ability to carry over up to 10 unused Recharge or Therapy Sessions

Excel Membership

Month-to-month subscription

All Recover and Perform benefits

Includes four (4) Recharge Sessions or Therapy Sessions per month

Eligible to purchase additional Recharge or Therapy Sessions at member pricing

Ability to carry over up to 10 unused Recharge or Therapy Sessions

General Conditions

Membership discounts apply to qualified services in accordance with KE Direct pricing policies.

Membership benefits and pricing are subject to change with notice.

Membership tiers may be upgraded or downgraded month to month.

  1. Monthly Subscription and Recurring Billing

By joining Kinetic Edge Direct, you authorize KE to automatically bill your monthly membership fee to the credit card or payment method you provide.

Membership fees renew monthly on your billing date.

You are responsible for all recurring charges until cancellation.

If payment cannot be processed, membership benefits will be suspended until payment is updated.

  1. Eligibility and Provider Scope

To enroll in KE Direct, you must be 18 years or older.

For clients under 18, a parent or legal guardian must co-sign and accept responsibility.

KE Direct services may be provided by licensed physical therapists (PTs), occupational therapists (OTs), athletic trainers (ATs), physical therapist assistants (PTAs), or certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs) within their scope of practice.

Medicare and Other Federal Insurance Plans

Federal insurance beneficiaries (e.g., Medicare) may participate in KE Direct only for wellness services (e.g., comfort, mobility, recovery services) and not for physical therapy or occupational therapy services that would otherwise be billed as medical care.

It is the member’s responsibility to inform us if they have federal insurance coverage.

  1. Service Definitions and Membership Use

Simple Services
Activities such as Normatec vasopneumatic compression, MarcPro or other electrical stimulation treatments, and other non-hands-on comfort services offered at member pricing.

Standard Services
Hands-on clinical services such as stretching/soft tissue work, dry needling, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), taping, and similar wellness/comfort interventions at member pricing.

Specialty Services
Services such as Shockwave therapy and Medical Fitness sessions offered at member pricing where available.

Recharge Sessions
A more thorough non-medical session focused on comfort, mobility, and movement support.

Perform members receive one included Recharge Session per month.

Excel members receive four included Recharge Sessions per month.

  1. Use of Services and Insurance Options

Members may elect to use cash-based services at KE Direct pricing or pursue care under their insurance benefits separately.

If a member prefers to bill a service to insurance, that visit must be scheduled and delivered under a qualifying medical plan of care, and member pricing does not apply retroactively.

If insurance is used for a visit, member discounts do not apply for that visit.

For federal insurance plans where cash billing for PT/OT is not permitted, only wellness services may be purchased through KE Direct.

  1. Membership Changes, Holds, and Freezes

Plan Changes

Members may change tiers at the start of a new billing cycle.

Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades may take effect at the next billing cycle.

Freeze Options

Medical or other documented freezes may be available with appropriate documentation and approval.

Freeze policies may limit benefit accrual during the freeze period.

  1. Cancellation Policy

Membership may be canceled at any time.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing or through the member portal according to our internal process.

Benefits remain active through the current billing cycle; there are no prorated refunds for partial months.

Unused included Recharge Sessions expire at the end of the billing cycle.

  1. Automatic Renewal and Billing Authorization

By enrolling, you authorize automatic monthly billing to your credit/debit card on file until cancellation. You agree to pay all applicable membership fees and taxes.

  1. Fees, Billing, and Declined Payments

All prices are in U.S. dollars.

If a payment method declines, membership benefits may be suspended until updated.

Accounts with unresolved balances may be referred to collections per policy.

  1. Member Conduct and Account Responsibility

Membership accounts are non-transferable.

Members are responsible for activity and charges associated with their account.

  1. Program Changes and Termination

KE reserves the right to modify or discontinue the KE Direct program or member benefits at any time. If the program is terminated, KE will provide notice and prorated refunds as appropriate.

  1. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

  1. Acknowledgment

By enrolling in a Kinetic Edge Direct membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and accept responsibility for your membership and use of services.
